$1.90 Foreign Exchange, Imperforate (Scott R80a). Large margins to full, fresh and bright color, neat strike of “Kingan & Co. N.Y. Dec. 11, 1865” double-circle datestamp VERY FINE. A RARE AND DESIRABLE EXAMPLE OF THE $1.90 FOREIGN EXCHANGE IMPERFORATE, ESPECIALLY DESIRABLE CANCELLED SOLELY BY THE HANDSTAMP. It is believed that of the 9,000 examples originally issued imperforate, 312 were returned for perforating. It is not known how many were used. A review using Power Search found only seven unduplicated copies. With 2008 P.S.E. certificate (F-VF 75, Revenues are unlisted in SMQ)

Revenue, 1862, First Issue, 50¢ Foreign Exchange, imperf (Scott R56a), strip of 4, neat 1863 manuscript cancel, large margins all around, this is a very scarce multiple missing from many revenue collections; left stamp with diagonal crease at bottom left and diagonal bend, otherwise Very Fine. Scott $400. This is the largest multiple recorded in the Curtis Census; he recorded a reconstructed block of 8 made from two horizontal strips of four and two other strips of four (neither of which is as nice as this strip) .
