THIS IS THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE DAY OF USE OF THE NEW WATERMARKED ISSUE. A postal document specified that the new watermarked stamps would be released to the public on May 2, 1895. This is the only recorded use of Scott 265 on this day. Ex Berkun. With 1979 P.F. and 2005 A.P.S. certificates
