Bottom half, neat July 24, 1867 manuscript cancel, affixed to document written in French, Very Fine, scarce, with 1980 P.F. certificate stating that “it is a genuine unofficial usage” — whatever that means, since bisecting revenue stamps was never “official”, but it was done by the agents — this issue is known to have been used bisected (see our Tolman sale)
