12c Black, Re-Issue (Scott 107). Original gum, lightly hinged, intense shade and proof-like impression on bright paper, beautiful centering with unusually wide margins EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 12-CENT 1861 RE-ISSUE. SCARCE WITH SUCH WIDE AND BALANCED MARGINS, AND ONE OF ONLY TWO TO ATTAIN THE COVETED XF-SUPERB 95 GRADE FROM P.S.E..
