United States 1930-80 Issues Air Post 1918 16c green, tied by the “Air Mail Service N.Y. Phila. Washington” cancel dated July 13, 7PM, on cover addressed to Eugene Klein, apparently held for the July 15 flight, with Philadelphia July 15 receiver on back. The rate for Washington to Philadelphia flights was lowered from 24c to 16c on July 15th.
