10c Black (2). Horizontal strip of three, large margins to barely touched at bottom right, faint horizontal crease at bottom and some slight age spotting VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A SCARCE STRIP OF THREE OF THE 10-CENT 1847 ISSUE. As an indication of the rarity of 10c 1847 multiples larger than a pair, Scott assigns a value of $3,000 for a pair, but $10,500 for the strip of three.
