1901, 4¢ Pan-American (296), bottom right plate block of 6, o.g., lightly hinged (5 stamps never hinged), tremendous example of this tough plate, with captivating deep rich color, accompanying certificate indicates the top right stamp is hinged, but we cannot find any evidence of any hinge mark, as this plate block looks never hinged, Very Fine, 2006 P.F. certificate. Scott $2,100. Estimate value $1,500 – 2,000.
