Bottom imprint, plate no. 108 and letter “D D” at left block of eight, large part disturbed original gum, h.r., intense shade and impression, few perf separations expertly and sensibly reinforced, minor light gum soaks, few shortish perfs at top right, trivial diagonal crease in selvage at bottom right FINE-VERY FINE APPEARANCE. THIS UNIQUE PIECE IS THE LARGEST IMPRINT AND PLATE NUMBER MULTIPLE OF THE $5.00 COLUMBIAN ISSUE. ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEMS IN UNITED STATES PHILATELY.
