Bottom imprint and plate no. 4957 block of six, lightly hinged, deep rich color, top right stamp small light toned spot not mentioned (or apparent) on accompanying certificates FINE AND RARE PLATE BLOCK OF THE $1.00 WASHINGTON. THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL WASHINGTON-FRANKLIN ISSUE PLATE BLOCKS. Excluding the Bluish Paper issue, this is one of the rarest of the Washington-Franklin plate blocks.
