Position 59R4, 6th row F Relief, unused (no gum), large margins to just in at bottom, deep rich color and proof-like impression, fresh and Fine, Position 59R4 is given special attention by Ashbrook-Neinken (page 274), who describe it as “an exceptional stamp, a notable plate variety, and of more interest to students of the one cent stamps than a mere type”, this because the bottom right plume escaped burnishing (unfortunately, the full plume is not visible on this stamp)
