Beautiful rich colors and detailed impressions, well-centered for this rarity which is almost always encountered with perfs touching on at least one side, neat manuscript June 4th, 1872 cancel VERY FINE AND CHOICE. AN OUTSTANDING SOUND EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT SECOND ISSUE WITH INVERTED CENTER. A review using Power Search reveals just how rare this invert is in sound condition with any semblance of decent centering. Each used example contained in Power Search has perfs touching on at least one side (sound or with faults). The only exception is a well-centered example with multiple pinhole cancels.
