1918, 2¢ carmine Offset, type V, missing digit in plate number sheet (Scott 527), top right complete sheet of 100 with plate number, o.g., all never hinged except top left stamp which has a hinge remnant, eye catching sheet showing missing digit in the plate number in the top selvage of the sheet; what should be plate “11233” is plate “1233”, missing the first digit of the plate number; the plate number in the right side selvage is the correct plate number; a great exhibition item showing the lack of quality in the printing process of these challenging WWI stamp issues; traces of light staining along a few straight edges examples at left and bottom, Very Good to Fine.
