Jul. 30, 1859” circular datestamp on cover to Lawrence Mass., with original contents, trivial toned speck, Very Fine, unusual shade, accompanied by notes from several experts who state alternatively “in spite of the close match with Dr. Chase’s Orange Reds I think this is an O.B. It does not match the Orange Reds on the #11’s and is very close to the yellowish OB of the #10’s” and also “The handwriting and addressee match Rochester N.Y. OB cover” (lot 265) and also “it would probably be better to call this YRR rather than yellowish OB on second thought”, whatever shade this is it is highly unusual

ONLY A FEW ARE KNOWN TO EXIST. The Piller collection (our Sale 748) contained a cover with a vertical strip of three, postmarked at Griffin Ga.
