10c Black (2). Original gum, appears to us to be almost full and intact but described by P.F. as “redistributed part original gum”, large margins to clear at bottom left, beautiful impression on fresh paper, two small thin spots at top and a minute surface scuff to the left of Washington’s mouth VERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 10-CENT 1847 ISSUE WITH ORIGINAL GUM. This is an unusually fresh and attractive example of the 10c 1847 Issue, which is a great rarity in original-gum condition. The tiny flaws do not detract from this stamp’s appearance, but they will make it more affordable. Ex Long. With 2005 P.F. certificate. Scott Retail as original gum
