Jun. 23” circular datestamps, small creases in top right, top center and bottom center stamps FINE-VERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN EXCEEDINGLY RARE USED BLOCK OF SIX OF THE 1857 5-CENT RED BROWN. Linn’s Stamp Facts notes that only six used blocks are recorded. Most are blocks of four. This is the first used block we have offered since our 2001 sale of the Twigg-Smith collection.
