1912, 2ΒΆ carmine, Kansas City roulette (Scott 409 var.), left plate block of 6, o.g., lightly hinged, awesome example of this scarce Kansas City roulette in a plate block format, with fabulous color and impression, with purple “C.A.S.” handstamp on reverse gum side, unlisted and unpriced in Scott as a plate block of 6, a very rare plate and the first such example we have ever had the pleasure of offering at public auction, Very Fine, 2014 P.F. certificate. Estimate $750 – 1,000.
