Large part original gum, small h.r., clear grill points, far better perforations than normally seen on this issue but with few irregular at top, typical light gum soaks in grill, small corner crease at top left, otherwise Fine, this grilled issue, with the grill covering the entire stamp, is difficult to find with such even perfs, and for some reason this issue almost always is found off-center

Clear grill but with mostly intact perfs, light strike of target cancel, choice centering, 1980 and 2010 P.F. certificates both call the stamp genuine, with most recent certificate stating “color slightly faded”, 2009 P.S.E. certificate states “genuine used with two short perfs to the left and reperfed at top”, still Extremely Fine appearance (the “faded” opinion is off base, in our opinion — Scott 79’s always have color affected by the all-over grill), from the Senchuk collection
