2c Carmine, Ty. III (Scott 267). Nine imprint and plate no. strips of three, from plate nos. 468 thru 471 and each with “AB” or “A” initials in plate no. selvage, positions incl. top, left and right, many stamps Mint N.H., bright colors, overall fresh and Fine-Very Fine, the initials were stamped with a steel stencil by a pressman, Alfred J. Bradford, who was following regulations for revenue stamp plates, which required the pressman to add his initials as a means to track any errors (this was not procedure at this time for regular postage issues)
